[edit]

IT'S the moment that fans of the Timelord have been waiting for. Finally, arch-baddies the Daleks make their appearance in the new series. Some fans might be disappointed that the revamped Daleks look fairly similar to their low-budget cousins of the past (complete with sink plunger arms.)

Although anyone who ever cowered behind the sofa will shiver to see the wheelie bin's new trick going up stairs.

Under the salt plains of Utah, billionaire collector Henry Van Statten has the last relic of an alien race. Unfortunately for him, it's actually a ruthless hovering killing machine - and we don't mean a rogue Flymo.

When the Doctor and Rose investigate, they discover that one of his oldest enemies is about to break free and go on the rampage.

But things get more dangerous when Rose gets caught in crossfire. Will she get ex-ter-min-ated?
