Butchering the Doctor: Suzanne & Cynthia Snyder of Iowa City, IA report a brutal slashing of "The Brain of Morbius." This four-part Doctor Who adventure has been released on Playhouse Video with a running time of 59 minutes in contrast to another four-part epic, "Revenge of the Cybermen," which runs a full 92 minutes. According to the pair, what is left untainted by the editor's blade is "the empty shell of a plot. It was like seeing the Cliff Notes version of Doctor Who."
