They're calling it IEDWAS — which stands for Inland Empire Doctor Who Appreciation Society.

A newly formed group of fans of "Doctor Who," a British science fiction series carried by KSPS-TV, is looking for interested new members.

Jamie Decker, one of the group's founders, wants to hear from other fans of the offbeat series.

Decker said said a newsletter is planned and that the group hopes get the star of the series, actor Tom Baker, to visit Spokane later this year.

Those interested should contact Decker at 325-9103 or through the club's address, P.O. Box 9490, Spokane 99209.
