You may not know what William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker and Peter Davison have in common: your five-to 10 year-olds will. And the answer is of course that they've all had a shot at being the best known British doctor — Dr Who. Or to be precise, four of them have and P. Davison is just about to. A special five week series — The Five Faces of Dr Who, featuring all of them in turn, starts on BBC1 on November 2 (at 5.40 pm, addicts and parents please note) and for those of you who found past episodes fascinating, there is still just time to see two exhibitions featuring all the monsters that the ki is love to hate. At Longleat House the latest monsters are on display along with all the old familiars, including K9, the Doctor, personal computer, the Daleks and others, all with authentic sound and light effects. At Blackpool you can see the Gundans (armoured robots from "Warrior's Gate"), Melkur, and an evil "living" statue from "The Keeper of Traken", The Foamisi, horrible green, man-sized insects from "The Leisure Hive", Meglos, a Triffid-type power-crazed humanoid cactus and the reptilian marshmen from "Full Circle." Both exhibitions will satiate even the hungriest monster seekers. Longleat House, Warminster, Wiltshire. Until November 1 from 11am-4pm. and 111 Central Promenade, Blackpool, Lancashire, Until November 8 daily from llam-5pm. Admission Longleat: Adults 40p, Children 30p Admission Blackpool: Adults 50p, Children 30p. Information: London (01) 743 5588 Extension 526 or 734
