[edit]

TWENTY years after emerging from the Tardis for the final time, former Dr Who Peter Davison has found himself a new generation of fans in the guise of his small sons. Louis, four, and two-year-old Joel can't get enough of their daddy —who played the Timelord for three years — battling with the Daleks. 'My boys are addicted to the show, "says still fresh-faced Peter, 52, who married the boys' mother, actress and writer Elizabeth Morton, last year.

Peter, who is also a grandfather to toddler Ty, son of his daughter Georgia from his first marriage to Sandra Dickinson, adds: 'Their favourite is Resurrection Of The Daleks, which they want to watch every day. It's absolutely great as being an older dad can be tiring but when I put Dr Who on TV I can be a fantastic role model. Even while I'm just sprawled on the sofa, I'm up there saving the universe!"

Hate to break it to you, Peter, but it won't last.
