THE latest Dr Who Christopher Eccleston may struggle at the controls of his Tardis — because he's failed his driving test seven times.
He's the ninth TV actor to become the famous Time Lord and battle Cybermen, Daleks and other alien monsters across the universe.
And former Cracker star Eccleston decided he needed a licence after hitting the big time.
But judging by his attempts to land a licence back on Earth, he could end up lost in space.
Each time Eccleston, 40, flopped on the hazard perception module — the part where drivers must spot potential disasters.
Glee
Eccleston, who shot to stardom in top telly drama Our Friends In The North, finally passed at the eighth attempt.
According to the Driving Standards Agency, 70% pass the theory test first time.
And a driving test insider said: "It doesn't bode well for a Time Lord.
"I bet the Daleks are rubbing their exterminators with glee at the prospect of finally nabbing their archenemy."
