Cindy Whitehead, a contributor to Anthem will conduct a similar workshop high-lighting science fiction poetry t writing.

The Star Trek television episode, "The Trouble with Tribbles," as well as the "Star Trek Blooper Film," will be shown during the convention. Local authors, Ted Cogswell and Charlie Spano will be featured as guests of honor.

Cogswell, a member of the Keystone Junior College faculty, has written several science fiction stories. He collaborated with Spano, a local Star Trek authority who teaches in the Scranton School District, in writing Spock, Messiah! a Star Trek novel.

Ellen Mortimer of Staten Island will give a Dr. Who presentation. Dr. Who, a science fiction television series by the British Broadcasting Company, was featured locally on PBS.

A computer display will be presented by local dealers. Any one attending may bring along original art work in any media. Art work must have a science fiction or fantasy theme. An auction will be conducted for artists wishing to sell their works.

Those attending the convention will be invited to show up in costume. Costumes must also revolve around a science fiction/fantasy theme. At present participants have indicated intentions to show up as Kling-ons, Vulcans (more of the Star Trek bad guys,) Dr. Who and Dracula.

Miss Sebastiani, the librarian at Valley View High School, belongs to several science fiction societies. She is a founder of Tesseract. The name, she says, implies things being in the fourth dimension.

She is a member of the Mythopoeic Society, an organization dedicated to the works of Tolkein; the Friends of Dark Over, a group organized to study the Dark Over books of Marian Zimmer Bradley; the Deryni Fan Club, members review the fantasy works of Kathryn Kurtz and the Society of Creative Anachronism."
