Dr. Who, Worzel Gummidge, and SuperTed will all paying a visit to Lichtfield's Civic Hall - in the shape of talented actor Jon Pertwee

In 'An Evening with Jon Pertwee' he tells how he found many of his famous voices, and relates the delightful and often hilarious happenings in his extraordinary life and career.

Jon is known to thousands as a television celebrity, mainly through his roles as the Time Lord Dr Who, and the lovable scarecrow Worzel Gummidge, and he also provides the voice for SuperTed.

But long before he became a TV hero Jon Pertwee spent many years touring the music hall circuit as a stand-up comedian.

He has a wealth of anecdotes about those early days in showbusiness and the stars he has worked with.
