A TV/39 television poll questionnaire, published in our Sunday Metropolitan newspapers in early October has resulted In overwhelming support to return the "MacNeil Lehrer NewsHour" to an earlier time period.

Channel 39 will telecast the nightly 'MacNeil Lehrer program 6:00-7:00 PM. starting MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5. The "Nightly Business Report' will continue at 7:00 PM.

The 7:30-8:00 PM time period will rem0061in dedicated to new program acquisitions in children's programming. business. computer program series. home improvement, health, and local public affairs.

"Dr. Who". Channel 39's new science fiction series. which premiered in October. will also be moved to earlier times in the evening to accommodate the community. The series will be seen nightly at 5:30 PM with a repeat telecast at 11:00 PM.

"PBS LateNight' will be telecast at 11:30 PM. Channel 39's concept of a 12:30 AM lat enight repeat of evening's top special shown earlier, which was started during the summer. will be restored again November 5. (Valley late-shifters told us they appreciate this).
