[edit]

For the next four weeks, on four consecutive nights, BBC 2 is rerunning four Dr Who adventure yarns, beginning on Monday with the first, a black-and-white story called An Unearthly Child, screened back in November 1963 and starring the late William Hartnell. Peter Davison's doctor Will be only briefly glimpsed, at the end of the series. We will not be able to assess him fully until next January, when Tardis spins into action once again.
