THE BBC'S "Doctor Who" Christmas special, "The Time of the Doctor," was the most-watched drama in Britain on Christmas Day. The show, which had Matt Smith's (r.) exit as the 11th Doctor and Peter Capaldi's entrance as the new Time Lord, was seen by 8.3 million people, or 30% of televisions in use in the U.K. In the U.S., where it aired on BBC America, ratings were significantly smaller.
