[edit]

Attention "Dr. Who" freaks. The BBC cult scifi series will soon have its seventh actor in the title role. He's Sylvester McCoy, the first Scot to play the good doctor. In Britain, McCoy takes over for the current star, Colin Baker, in the fall. American viewers—the series is carried in 193 U.S. markets, including WTTW-Ch. 11—will catch their first glimpse of the real McCoy in early 1988.
