You mightn't have noticed it but there looks to be another ITV attack on Doctor Who. While the Doctor is locked in combat with the Cybermen as they invade Earth, ITV has bought a new science fiction series from America called Land of The Giants.
Being a Dr. Who loyalist I only saw the second half of the commercial challenger. And all it seems to offer is good photography. But once the pleasure of that dies away I can't see it exerting much of a hold.
Dr. Who continues a shatteringly high level of inventiveness. Sometimes I think that children can't appreciate all that goes into it.
