[edit]

This year doesn't just mark five decades of our favourite lord after the gay ones (that's Time Lord, incidentally) - it also sees the 48th anniversary of Doctor Who's first big-screen appearance. Hmmm. Not quite as snappy. But hey, it's a good excuse to revisit a newly digitally remastered version of Dr Who and the Daleks (with the alien race that looks like Julian Clary and Jennie Linden's breasts/hair both making outstanding appearances). The sequel, Daleks - Invasion Earth: 2150AD, sees the pepperpots deploying lots of men in PVC to take over the planet. Sounds fine by us.

Peter Cushing stars as 'Dr. Who'. Also in PVC.
