[edit]

A Time Lord who is very much in touch with his feminine side isn't the only big change when Doctor Who returns for a new series tonight with Jodie Whittaker at the controls of the Tardis.

Quiz show host and former Coronation Street star Bradley Walsh, who played football for Brentford before becoming a comedian and actor, later presenting The Chase, will also be making his debut, as the Doctor's companion, Graham O'Brien.

According to Bradley, Graham is a grandfather in his sixties with a secret past. Really? He's companion to a time traveller - surely his past can't be all that secret.
