Gallifrey, a south suburban organization dedicated to promoting the long-running BBC-TV series "Dr Who" that is televised in Chicago on WTTW Channel 11, will sponsor a get acquainted/fund-raiser screening at 5 p.m. Thursday and 1 p m Friday, Saturday and next Sunday at the Homewood theater.
For $1.50, patrons will be admitted to the 85-minute "Dr Who and the Daleks." a feature film produced in England in 1969, and "Hardware Wars," the 13-minute spoof on the movie "Star Wars."
Gallifrey representatives will attend the screenings to talk about their 100 member club and the United "Dr Who" Fan Network of Chicago
