If you are a Whovian, it will behoove you to mark July 9 and 10 on the calendar. Those are the dates for Tampa's first Dr. Who festival.

Sponsored by the Dr. Who Fan Club of America, this two-day event will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in McKay Auditorium at the University of Tampa.

Dr. Who is the main character in a British science fiction series currently airing Saturday on WEDU, Channel 3. Guest speakers will include Nathan Turner, producer of the Dr. Who series, and Jon Pertwee, who was the third actor to play Dr. Who.

Fans of "Dr. Who" take note: Tampa's first Dr. Who festival is scheduled for July 8-9 at McKay Auditorium.
