[edit]

A "Sleeping Beauty" pantomime performed by the pupils of St. Mary's and St. Anne's School, Abbots Bromley on Saturday evening involved Dr. Who and K9.

In fact the story, largely written and produced by teachers Mrs Joyce Muriel and Mr James Anderson bore little resemblance to the tradıtional "Sleeping Beauty."

Dr Who and K9 were searching for the lost wand which eventually they found in Sleeping Beauty land. The pantomime an annual event at the school, was performed for the whole school and a few friends.

About 35 pupils took part in the production but most of the school were involved in some way or other with set costumes, make up, props.

On Monday evening the school reverted to tradition and held a carol service at St Nicholas's Church.
