Who star Kylie meets Dalek
KYLIE Minogue gets ready for her Christmas Day appearance in Doctor Who by cuddling up to his archenemy — and looks Dalek-table.
The timeless beauty was nervous about meeting the icon, famed for its "Exterminate" war cry.
And afterwards singer Kylie squeezed into a metallic gold dress - said: "I was in the presence of a legend."
She told the new issue of the Doctor Who mag, on sale today: "The Dalek was in great condition, and much bigger than I'd expected."
She joked: "I've had to gracefully accept second billing. Well, at least I'm younger. And I've met one now - I didn't in the Christmas episode."
Kylie plays waitress Astrid on the Titanic. The ex-Neighbours star said: "My first day on set was like stepping back in time. I felt really at home being back in the world of TV. I've definitely got the acting bug again."
Kylie will be reunited with her first love Jason Donovan on Saturday night's X Factor final on ITV1.
As well as performing her new single Wow, she will sing with Scottish hopeful Leon Jackson - while Jason sings with Same Difference. But the former soap co-stars will NOT duet, like they did with their smash hit Especially For You.
Meanwhile Welsh opera beauty Katherine Jenkins will perform with show favourite Rhydian Roberts.
