JOHN CLEESE ALS Dr. WHO

In ons land niet zo bekend, maar in Engeland is 'ie al jaren een succes: de tv-serie 'Dr. Who'. Generaties kinderen zijn er mee opgegroeid en ritsen acteurs hebben gestalte gegeven aan de hoofdpersoon, de verstrooide geleerde-met-sjaal-om die zich in een ouderwetse telefooncel door de ruimte en de tijd verplaatst.

Het concept blijkt nog steeds een succes en daarom is men nu van plan een speelfilm over Dr. Who te maken.

Hoofdrol

De hoofdrol zal zo goed als zeker worden gespeeld door John Cleese, ooit een van de voormannen van Monty Pvthon's Flying Circus, maar vooral ook bekend vanwege zijn intrigerende rol in „Fawlty Towcrs", de comedy-sorie «ver een klein familiehotel aan de Engelse kust.
