[edit]

KATY MANNING, 'Dr Who's' old sparring partner, returns to BBC 1 soon, in something completely different.

She'll be introducing a weekend series Called 'Serendipidity,' ail about arts and crafts.

Miss Manning will be explaining hobbies like jewellery making. Not just reading from a script, either. Her friends say the anchor-girl role is type casting, since Katy helped to pioneer the tie 'n die fad in London and spends much of her free time making anything from junk-jewellery to candles.
