How dare your TV reporter criticise the new series of Dr Who (Mail November 9.) This is a brilliant new series. What a refreshing change it is to have the series based here on Earth, even if it is a old fashioned Holiday Camp, and the sight of that wonderful old bus being converted into a spaceship is brilliant.

So all right, perhaps Ken Dodd was not the best possible piece of casting, but certainly the rest of the cast make up for it.

I for one can hardly wait for the third and final part of this series. not because I want to see it end, but to see the 'baddies receive their just rewards, which they surely will. Long Live Dr. Who.
