[edit]

If whodunits aren't your cup of tea, then how about Who-dunits? Doctor Who: Time Lord ($14.95), a Virgin Books publication distributed in the U.S. by Task Force Games, offers rules and information, which enable roleplayers to create their own Doctor Who scenarios or participate in games based on the classic BBC series. The book also allows you to roleplay as any one of the Doctor's seven incarnations or their 29 companions.

Time Lord is cleverly broken down into five parts, the first of which provides a synopsis of the SF show's long-running history. The second segment introduces new garners to the concept of roleplaying, while Parts Three and Four contain important Doctor Who game rules and references. The final part features a Doctor Who scenario and explains how to develop your own adventures in time and space.
