'DOCTOR WHO' AND 'CLASS,' SATURDAY, 9 P.M., BBC AMERICA
"Doctor Who" returns for its 10th season — featuring a new companion, Bill — followed at 10:10 p.m. by the series premiere of its latest spinoff, "Class." It's been over a year since we've had a new "Doctor Who" episode, and Peter Capaldi has already announced that this will be his last season as the Doctor. The only constant is change, I guess! "Class" is set in Coal Hill School, where a group of high school students (including Charlie, played by Greg Austin, above, with Katherine Kelly) is called upon to battle the supernatural forces of evil. It's a solid enough school drama, particularly if you're desperately missing "The Magicians."
