Channel Two has been inundated with calls from "Dr Who" fanatics wanting to know when a special celebrating the time lord's 20th birthday will be shown on Australian television.
It was reported on this page last Thursday that the BBC will screen a 90-minute special on Wednesday called "Dr Who: The Ultimate Celebration" to mark the 20th anniversary of the show. "Dr Who" was first shown in Britain on November 23, 1963. The ABC is showing repeats of the show starring Tom Baker on weeknights at 6.30.
The present Dr Who, Peter Davison, followed Baker, who played the role for seven years.
"Dr Who" fanatics will be pleased to know that Aunty has scheduled the special for December 13.
