A PSYCHIATRIST has claimed that the large, hairy spiders in a recent B.B.C. Dr. Who series were probably responsible for "an epidemic of spider phobia among young children."
The answer, of course, is for parents to excercise some control and not to let young children watch the programme.
Or the B.B.C. and ITV might be persuaded to preface such programmes with a warning that what is about to be seen is a load of rubbish—an announcement that could equally apply to a lot of the fare served up these days in the name of entertainment.
