DR WHO is returning to the BBC — but this time at Radio 4.
The 21-year-old television series, which was taken off the screen earlier this year, will return in the autumn. Actor Colin Baker will play the title role and Nicola Bryant his assistant.
A BBC spokesmen said last night the doctor would feature in a new light entertainment programme. "It will contain a Dr Who story, not a new series as such but one story over three days."
Meanwhile BBC Television are working on a "revitalized" Dr Who series for next year.
Then Dr Who will run for a longer period in a "re-invigorated" and shorter form - 25 minutes as against 45.
