An operational dalek from the television programme Dr Who fetched £6,670 yesterday at an auction of memorabilia.
A thank-you note written by Diana, Princess of Wales, with its original envelope, sold for £1,300 at the Bonhams sale in London. A set of five Christmas cards signed "Charles and Diana'. fetched £2,800.
