[edit]

CONGRATULATIONS to the BBC in general and to Radio Times in particular for their continual commitment towards the long-awaited new Doctor Who (Spring Bank Holiday BBC1).

RT's 16-page tribute feature (25 May issue) was a particular triumph and we can only hope that, if American audiences can acclimatise themselves to the Doctor's offbeat style, he'll be granted further adventures in Space and Time.

... I DON'T MIND the vast budget or the lavish new sets. I'm even willing to tolerate the lack of Daleks. But it won't be the REAL Doctor Who until it is broadcast at 5.15 on Saturday afternoon.
