The Whomobile, with all the characters from the longest-running science fiction series in television history. will be on tour noon-7 p.m., Aug. 8 and noon-6 p.m., Aug. 9, at the Sheldon, 3648 Washington Boulevard. The Tardis, the time-travel vehicle in the shape of an English police call box: the Doctor's pet robot dog K-9, and Dalek, Cyberman, Kraal and other creatures who have battled the Time Lord over the years will be on view for Whovians, as Doctor Who fans are called. Janet Fielding, the actress who portrayed the Australian stewardess Tegan, will make an appearance and sign autographs. $7.50 adults. $5 children ages 6-12, free for children under age 5.
