DOCTOR Who will return to TV screens on New Year's Day with a two-part episode called Spyfall.
Stephen Fry and Sir Lenny Henry are set to star in the 12th series alongside Jodie Whittaker, who took over as the Time Lord last year.
The series will start on BBC1 on January 1, with subsequent episodes due to air on the following Sunday nights.
Beeb bosses have promised "blockbuster action", saying the Doctor is "back with a bang".
