Greg Thornbury, president of The King's College, New York City, and coeditor of a new book about the British TV series "Doctor Who," is coming to Lancaster for a book release party and Trust Conversation. The event is at 7:30 p.m. March 26 at the Trust Performing Arts Center, 37 N. Market St.
A writer and speaker on philosophy, theology, education, spirituality and public thought, Thornbury is co-editor with Ned Bustard of "Bigger on the Inside: Christianity and Doctor Who," from Square Halo Books. The book suggests many stories in the science fiction program are parables offering insights into Christianity.
A free book will be given to the person who shows up in the best "Doctor Who"-related costume.
Tickets are $10, $5 for students. For more information, visit lancastertrust.com or cal006C 208-7835.
