Dr Who's Willy is Just Like a Tardis .. it's bigger than you think!

DOCTOR Who babe Billie Piper calls David Tennant "David Ten-Inch".

Her shock revelation sparked speculation she may have caught a glimpse of more than just the Doctor's famous sonic screwdriver.

Billie, 23, who plays the Time Lord's sexy sidekick Rose Tyler, says her Scottish costar gets wound up when she calls him by the nickname.

The cheeky blonde is keeping mum about why she game him the moniker — though she knows that revealing it will "cause havoc".

Billie said of working on set with David and the Tardis: "We always have a laugh because you have to.

"It's so intense and you have to concentrate so much that afterwards, quite naturally, you start giggling, getting rid of that energy.

"David and I take the mickey out of each other all the time.

"Do we have nicknames for each other? Yeah... this is going to start so much havoc. I recently named him David Ten-inch." She added: "I have no basis or grounds for calling him that. I just find it funny."

David, the tenth actor to play the Doctor, calls Billie "Carlos Carlos". She explained: "We think Carlos is such a funny name, so I like to use it twice. And we choose names for each other's trailers.

Brilliant

"At the moment Desmond Tutu is on mine and I put Lavinia on his."

Billie confessed Rose is "obviously attracted" to the Doctor — but it's "not a physical thing". She also revealed that her future with the show will be decided in a life-or-death cliffhanging ending to the BBC1 series, which starts on Saturday at 7.15pm. Billie told Radio Times: "It's brilliant — watch and see."
