[edit]

DR WHO'S Tardis has been programmed to land in the middle of an alien landscape next week - Bracknell town centre.

And the doctor, alias actor Tom Baker (above), will be materialising in person in the greeting cards and books department at Bentalls store at 4pm on Thursday, November 22.

And until 5pm Tom, fresh from his latest battles with the Daleks, will be signing copies of the paperback books about his adventures.

He is just one of the celebrities lined up for guest appearances at Bentalls in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Richard O'Sullivan, of Robin's Nest fame, will be signing copies of a Dick Turpin book from 2.30 to 3.30pm on Saturday, November 17.

TV's Tony Hart will be the star quest at Bentalls annual Christmas family night on Friday, November 23.
