TIME has taken its toll of one of Dr Who's assistants —actress Sarah Sutton (20), who plays Nissa in the series. She said yesterday she intends to quit when the current episodes finish filming early next year.
"I've been in the show for almost two years and I think that is long enough," she said at Heathrow as she left for a Dr Who Appreciation Society convention in New York.
"The only thing that worries me is meeting a sticky end. I would rather be written out with a nice happy ending — I certainly don't want to be bumped off."
Caption: Sarah, alias Nissa — she wants a happy ending.
Spelling correction: Nyssa
Ed. note: The convention was "Sweatcon" in Chicago, as seen in Once Upon a Time Lord
