Ken Dodd is dead. Long live Dr Who! The comic met an unexpectedly quick death last week after livening up proceedings in the first part of Delta And The Bannermen. Tonight (BBC1, 7.35pm) the Doctor has to escape after being cornered by an alien bounty hunter wearing blue suede shoes in this 1959 adventure.
I suggest the Doctor starts singing Johnny B Goode. If his voice is as bad as the rest of the programme the alien will soon lose interest.
