Three hundred Daleks were destroyed by fire yesterday. So were the parts to make another 4,000 replicas of the BBC TV "Dr. Who" Space creatures.
The Daleks were destroyed in a blaze which severely damaged the factory of Scorpion Automotives in Ashburnham-road, Northampton.
Fifty of the Daleks were the conventional sort. The other 250 were inflatable Daleks— toys ready to march on the beaches of Britain this summer.
