GPTV is at it again, bringing Whovians the something nearest to their hearts: Doctors. And we're bringing the Doctors Georgians have been clamoring for: Doctor #3 Jon Pertwee and Doctor #6 Colin Baker.
It's all part of Live From Atlanta! The Dr. Who Celebration And Tour, airing Saturday, March 7 from 6 PM 'til midnight. Pertwee will join GPTV Program Director George Weam and other familiar faces from the GPTV family for a spectacular live broadcast from Atlanta.
During the evening, George, Jon and the crew will not only introduce the first episode of Colin Baker's series to Georgians, but will also introduce Colin's successor, the new Doctor, #7, to the United States.
It's all happening as part of a nationwide tour by the Dr. Who exhibit, an "experience theatre on wheels," bringing to life — through animation and special effects — nightmares from the Doctors' past The tour has three elements: the exhibit of Dr. Who memorabilia, a film, and an appearance by Dr. Who stars.
