DR Who fans from Wolverhampton time-travelled their way to another world as part of a special screening of the first episode of the new series.
Scores of fans descended on the .fight House Media Centre in Wolverhampton for a special showing of Dr Mho: Deep Breath.
The feature-length new episode showcased Peter Capaldi in his first rating as the Doctor, while fans were shown a bonus six minutes of footage, as well as looking in on a special question and answer session beamed live from Leicester Square.
Die-hard fans who went to the special screening included eight-year-old Tia Winfield, who attended with her mother Amy Manuell.
Tia, who goes to St Michael's CE Primary School in Tettenhall, said: "I really like Dr Who and as soon as my mom told me they were showing it here I got really excited and wanted to come and watch it.
"I started watching Dr Who from when David Tennant was in it and I've been watching it since then." Also attending the showing was Phil Stairmand-Jackson and his 10-year-old son Peter, who are from Penn Fields.
Mr Stairmand-Jackson, 43, said: "We just thought we'd come out and see it to make it a bit more special being the first episode.
"I started watching it in about 1979 or 1980, when Tom Baker was playing the Doctor. "
