[edit]

HE COULD have been called Rusty after all, he is -- inclined to tarnish in the rain. Or it could have ben Rin-Tin-Tin -- - very apt when you're held together with nuts and bolts. But sentiment has no place when you're a battle-hardened time traveller. So Dr Who settled for K9 when he introduced his new best friend -- jolly computerised cosmic canine —- yesterday with the help of his fellow time travellers Louise Jameson. K9, complete with fibre-glass chin and cold steel nose tor getting on the scent of trouble, makes his debut on BBC TV tomorrow.
