Dr. Who's fans are celebrating his 20th anniversary this weekend.
The 20-year-old TV Time Lord has had an impact here in the colonies since he emigrated from British TV, and The Time Lords of Kansas, your friendly Dr. Who fan club, are putting on the party tonight. It's at the Union Station Pub, in the lower level at the Wichita State University Campus Activities Center.
The video shows of Dr. Who start at 5:30 p.m. and run continuously for the evening. The party starts at 7. It's free, and it's open to the public.
There's to be a costume contest, a trivia contest and, of course, birthday cake. There may be skits. And one of the prizes of the evening is to be a 15-foot-long replica of the scarf worn by you know who: Tom Baker.
