PETER CAPALDI was a damp squib as the Time Lord and Doctor Who's viewers disappeared quicker than a speeding Tardis.
Bosses will be hoping that JODIE WHITTAKER, pictured for the first time in her costume, will help boost the sci-fi series' popularity. Former Broadchurch star Jodie was announced as the Thirteenth Doctor in July - to a mixed reaction. When she debuts in the Christmas special, she'll have to prove a herself a worthy replacement.
Good luck to her but I couldn't care less about this dying franchise.
