JON PERTWEE, TV's Dr. Who, finds out what's cooking as a judge in the finals of the Co-op National Baking Competition held in London.
He tried a bit of spooning with the oldest of the six finalists. Mrs. Elsie Fletcher, 74, a CJ reader from Clitheroe, Lancs.
The women had to prepare the dish they would set before Mr. Pertwee if he came to dinner.
Mrs. Fletcher was joint second and won a £500 Hygena kitchen plus a New World gas cooker.
