PRINCESS MARGARET was introduced to a little girl and her doll yesterday.
Beverley Perry, aged two, appeared clutching her doll at the new Princess Margaret Hospital, in Swindon, Wilts, which the Princess had just opened.
The Princess asked: "What's your doll's name?"
Beverley, of Upper Stratton, Swindon, answered shyly: "Golly."
Later, inspecting a new X-ray machine, the Princess was told that the children called it one of the Daleks."
They're on television," an official added, when she looked puzzled.
"With Dr. Who," said the senior matron.
"Dr. who?" asked the Princess.
"Dr. Who and the Daleks, it is science fiction on television," she was told.
"Oh, yes, Dr. Who," said the Princess.
