They arrived in Aldergrove by Emerald Airways. To-night at 8 p.m. they will invade Ann Street when they will accompany the Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor William Jenkins, J.P., up to Dr. Who's spaceship the "Tardis," which has arrived for its Christmas visit. The Lord Mayor will then perform the official switch-on ceremony, setting the street and its Christmas tree ablaze with light. The shops are open, too, in Ann Street where one-stop shopping is possible in Belfast's most compact shopping centre.
Bring the children to see the procession. They'll thrill to a visit to the "Tardis" and receive a parcel from a real talking Dalek. Vouchers are available at shops displaying the Dalek sign.
