LATEST Dr Who David Tennant is facing a backlash from fans who do not want him to be the tenth Time Lord.
The Scottish actor is taking over from Christopher Eccleston in the next series of the BBC hit. But he has discovered that some fans are up in arms about him landing the role. Tennant tells this month's Doctor Who magazine he was shocked by comments on a website dedicated to the show.
He said: "The first comment I read was very nice, and the next comment was terribly flattering, and then the next one said something like, 'I can't bear the sight of him!"
