PRODUCER Philip Hinchcliffe is in line for an Emmy award in America later this month for his series, Nancy Astor, starring Lisa Harrow.
The episode of the series which puts him in the running included three actors who have gone on to greater things Charles Dance (Jewel in the Crown), Piers Brosnan (Remington Steele) and Nigel Havers (Chariots of Fire). Which makes Philip quite a star spotter.
Spelling correction: Pierce Brosnan
