EVERYONE remembers George Lazenby — the Aussie actor who played James Bond only ONCE and that was in the film On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Now Paul McGann, right, who played Dr Who in the five million dollar American movie tells me he has been compared to the actor.
Sylvester McCoy who played Dr Who before Paul, told the scouse actor: "You are the George Lazenby of the Time Lords" after it was revealed there won't be a Dr Who series.
Paul, currently making the film Downtime on location in Liverpool, told WAVES: "It's disappointing. I was really into it."
