As a member of WMHT, I've enjoyed MASTERPIECE THEATRE, SNEAK PREVIEWS, SUPERSTAR PROFILE, THE PAPER CHASE, ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL, and many of the old classic movies that you've presented. However, I'm particularly enchanted with your DR. WHO series. Its delightful humor and escapism story line are a much needed relief from the seriousness of our everyday lives.

As a primary teacher, I've found a great number of my second grade students also enjoy the series. We've developed several very interesting class activities as a result.

I'm enclosing some letters that several of the students wished to send you (and some photographs, which I hope you will enjoy)... We've also written to the Dr. Who Monthly Magazine in England and are awaiting a reply.

Thank you again for reshowing these episodes. I will be looking forward to the other DR. WHO purchases you've made, as well as the other top quality entertainment you provide.

I am in total agreement with those letters sent to your organization expressing disgust at the program DR. WHO. This is a regrettable substitute for an excellent program, THE ELECTRIC COMPANY. The plot line characters of DR. WHO make no sense to a young child, and my 3 and 4 year old sons turn that program off at 5:30. THE ELECTRIC COMPANY was an educational program enjoyed by my children as well as myself, and I regret that you had to replace it with a program of violence and weird characters.
