The Doctor and Belinda have a hair-raising time in Lagos
While the TARDIS has 'visited' Africa in other episodes, this one marks the first time in Doctor Who's 62-year history that it's been to Nigeria - although the episode was filmed in and around Cardiff, like Doctor Who always is, so credit due to the production team for pulling it off so convincingly. The Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Belinda (Varada Sethu) are visiting Lagos this week because it's all part of the process in getting Belinda back home safely, but inevitably there's a complication when a trip to a local barbershop gets the pair of them caught up in a revenge plot that has been brewing for many, many years.
